Dory: Something someone has told you that you can’t forget (two good things and one bad)

Hamda told me that we would always be friends, Chira told me that the family will always protect me, and Tortulja told me that by trying to find justice I’ll only bring pain to myself.

I’m… I’m not sure which of those were the good things.

Hamda and Haaki

Name: Frode

Gender: Male

General Appearance: Dark brown hair, brown eyes. Thin Nord build, on the shorter side.

Personality: Happy and cheerful, but easily upset, at which point he will run away and hide somewhere. Shy when meeting people for the first time.

Special Talents: Hiding, painting.

Who they like better: Hamda, but he gets along with both.

Who they take after more: Hamda

Personal Headcanon: Hamda let Frode play with her warpaint as a child, which he enjoyed immensely. He wears it himself when he gets older and his clumsy fingerpaintings slowly develop into passable art.

Despite being closer to his mother, he and his father love each other dearly as well. Although Haaki is disappointed that Frode has no interest in hunting he is pleased that his son is calm, peaceful and happy.

As a kitten, Tsabashi had always wondered what the streets of Windhelm were like, behind the tall and dark walls she could see on the skyline. Back then she had never understood why she and her littermates were kept in the camp across the river. It must be warmer inside the gates, and food would be easier to find, rather than picking rabbits off the mountainside.

The reason, it turned out, was because the local Nords treated Khajiit as slightly less human than skeevers. At least skeevers could find their way inside. Now Tsabashi crouched behind the walls and watched as a young woman - a Stormcloak - left the Palace of Kings. If she saw the Khajiit intruder ducking behind a stone pillar, or if the puppy at her heels picked up the scent of ash and fur, then there was a good chance she would call the guards.

Tsabashi held her breath and waited.

1. A scar my character has

I got one! I can answer this! It's on my leg, look, here. 'S a wolf bite. Got it when I was adventuring with Hrokr. 'Cause I can do adventuring, y'see, we fought off wolves and everything.

I have a scar on my right hand, between the thumb and forefinger. Hjolrin was trying to teach me how to set traps, but the wire flicked back and cut me instead.

4. My character's favourite memory

The day Finnr was born.

But... now I'm older, I guess I kind of appreciate smaller things more. Like kissing Hrokr for the first time.

That made me happy.

Going for a picnic with my siblings, and giving Hamda her puppy. That was the happiest I've felt in a long time, and it makes me think that maybe-- things can change.

7. A time when my character was jealous

Uh. When I first moved to Whiterun, there was a young woman, name of Rodda Cold-Tree, who worked in the Bannered Mare. I may or may not have been attracted to her. Unfortunately, so was everybody else.

I'll be honest, I have never been so angry over something so petty since the time Pa brought home some real steel daggers for my siblings, then gave me a wooden sword. I was only small, but at the time I didn't understand why a five year old couldn't be a proper warrior as well.

I'm not writing your name on this. I mean, what if you found it lying around and read it and then didn't want to tell me and then had to wonder about it every time you saw me and then I'd be worried you were upset and I tried to give you a sweet roll to make it better only that didn't work and then I lost my faith in sweet rolls forever? That would be terrible.

Anyway. If you ever do find this, what I was trying to say is that you should never think nobody loves you. Because they do. And I can prove it if I have to. I know I don't know about many things but this is something you got to trust me on. Somebody loves you.

Dear Joldi,

I'm sorry I haven't seen much of you recently. One of the guards has been off sick, so I've had to work day shifts rather than night shifts, and let me tell you, they've been busy.

First there was this man and, I swear, he was one of the Forsworn - you know, in the Reach? - but he was like a child. He was playing with the fish outside Dragonsreach, bold as day, nobody doing a thing. I had to arrest him. Was that the right thing? It was the right thing, wasn't it? I mean, he was one of the Forsworn. Who knows what he was going to do?

Anyway, Caius told me to let him out in the end, and then one of the other guards comes up to me and says he's seen Frithjofr. You know, my brother-in-law? Apparently he was caught carrying skooma with some Bosmer thief. I don't know what to think about him. It would be so much easier if I could talk to him. Hjolrin says he has, but he doesn't want to get involved and I just don't know what Haaki's doing any more.

Sorry, I'm rambling. Write back soon. I promise, as soon as I can get time off, we'll have the wedding. I just need to book a carriage to Riften and tell the priests there. Send my love to Igna and Sirri.

...How did we get to Morrowind?! [Alyina/Hamda]

Alyina and Hamda had been sent out to work in the far east of Skyrim, patrolling the Morrowind/Skyrim border. Ash fell like snow, and if you were up high enough, you could see planes of sand, ash, nothingness. Alyina gave a small sigh before walking north a tad bit, waving Hamda on.

The ground was white, and a little cold. Assuming it was just snow, Alyina ventured further on, unknowingly crossing into Morrowind.

"You still there?" She looked over her shoulder.
