Ghiaccio is prickly by nature and I imagine it being difficult for him to make friends outside of work 😂, I think even some of his squadmates can only tolerate him in small doses. But Reader is a bit different, she’s a traveler and has met lots of ppl from many walks of life. She doesn’t judge, only accepts (good, bad, and ugly). Even with the most sour lemon, she still manages to make lemonade!

I live for the ‘friends to lovers’ trope. This song just gives me first love sweetness and tender pining vibes. When the song goes “I like you, say it back” I just picture a blushing Ghiaccio when he finally confesses, like ‘I like you, and it’s gonna be crazy embarrassing if you don’t feel the same. So you better say it back’ lmao and of course she’s liked him since the beginning so 🤣

Okay, bro. This song right here gets me in my freakin feels because it’s such a real song. The lyrics are so real and beautiful. I think it fits Ghiaccio and Reader’s dynamic because the foundation of their friendship is rooted in opening up to one another, and being honest and vulnerable? I guess it’s just like finding the person who you can totally open up to without fear of being judged.
