((Waves nervously)) "Holy /shit/," Hiccup choked at the sight of the blood, hurrying over to the stranger's side and resting a hand on her back, his brows furrowed in concern. "Are you alright? Do you need help? Gods, that's a lot of blood..."

Maleficent looked up at the stranger and then back to the blood. Her old wounds hsould have opened, great. “H-help.” She managed to say before falling on the floor, inconcient.

How long had it been since the ache in her heels went numb? Since the growl in her stomach went silent? Since the pain in her arm had turned to a craving? Dragon groaned as she walked down the street. The backs of her heels had already begun to rub her ankles raw, but she had to get to her spot. The streetlight seemed so far away now, though. She grabbed at her elbow, the needle-pricked skin itching.

"I need a hit..." she muttered, "...I gotta... get paid first..."

She felt her ankle roll under her. She fell against the display window of the deli a few blocks from the light. No, it hurt so much. When was the last time she'd eaten? Her knees gave way and she slid to the ground.
