((*sigh* I wanna come back here so bad. But I’m thinking really hard about rebooting both my Blackmore girls, since the things they’ve been up to are sort of... by the wayside now. Both their significant others aren’t active anymore, and their kiddos aren’t particular active. I really like the kids, to be honest, but I don’t really want them attached to these characters anymore. I dunno, been a lot on my mind since my last mun post.
After my sister passed, I lost an aunt shortly after and then my dad passed away. And my dad passing away opened up a whole can of worms worth of problems that have just decimated how I view my family and how my life has been up to this point. I’d love to come back to roleplaying and just enjoy myself for a bit.))

It’d only been a few weeks since Kaira and Barnaby had escaped to the region of Galar. What luck it’d been that they’d fly in on a Charizard, a Pokemon well-accepted and loved in the area. Dante’s impressive size and strength made it easy to pick up quick paying jobs around the place. Which was what he and his trainer were out doing today, helping to clear a field that had become overgrown with jagged weeds that tore up Bike tires.
The excited sound of a Pokemon approaching spooked Kaira at first, but as she turned to see the Absol, she relaxed. Sometimes it was hard to remember that not every Trainer was a Rocket associate out to try and steal them back.
“It’s fine,” she giggled, kneeling down to greet the Pokemon, “But you should both watch your steps, the vines and weeds out here are sharp. They’ll get caught up in this pretty fur of yours.”
A moment later, Dante appeared, the shiny Charizard circling high above before slowly swooping in and landing. He was carrying a small handful of thick, but not unreasonably large, dry sticks. He looked the Trainer and his Pokemon over, also relaxing as Kaira held her hand out for the Absol to sniff.
“My name’s Kaira and this is my partner, Dante.”

“… I’ve heard this place is good from my Little Jewel.” he pointed at the Orange Julius place.
“But mostly I eat meat…. Pick whatever you would like.”
Pixie found that quite endearing, that such a large man would have a daughter that he took care off. And the compliment wasn’t lost on her either. If they had been somewhere safer, she might have let her tails show so they could wag.
“That’s sweet that you look after your daughter so well,” she said, nudging with her shoulder for him to approach the Orange Julius stall. She could already see the volunteers looking at them nervously, and offered a smile to try and ease them a bit, “Little Jewel is such a cute little nickname for her, too. I bet she’s beautiful.”
“I actually really like Orange Julius myself,” she continued, patting his arm gently and taking a moment to admire the thick, strong muscle under her palm, “Let’s get a pair of drinks and then maybe a bunch of meat and veggies on stick. Oh, wait, the word for that is ‘kabob’, I think. A bunch of kabobs.”

“This way.” he rumbled softly, took a step, and then paused. Thinking about something. What did that Kas do with his Jewel? Oh yes. He looked at Pixie and held out his big burly, talon-ed hand to her. They had to keep up appearances right?
Oh? What’s this? An offered hand? Oddly, Pixie hesitated for a moment, but ultimately took the large man’s hand. Her was completely engulfed in his and she was delighted by that. And the claws? Excellent.
“I have to say, I really appreciate you sticking with me,” she said, bouncing along as they walked towards the food stalls. The smells were absolutely enthralling and she just wanted to try everything. Wide gold eyes looked around, trying to take in all the sights and attempt to pick out what all she wanted to try, “Oh wow, what a selection. Does anything look good to you, big guy?”

Lydia was more than eager to help Tatiana figure out how to hold the Sandshrew. Back paws tucked in, tail out so he could easily wag it (which he hadn’t stopped doing since he was picked up), front paws braced against her shoulders. Soft brown eyes looked up so sweetly at Tatiana, chittering as he was held.
“There we go,” she said, with a smile, “You two get to know each other better and I’ll be right back.”
She took Tatiana’s bags and went down the hall. Before too long, a handful of other Pokemon began to approach, among them a Pichu, an Eevee, a Phanpy, just to name a few. They were all bandaged or seemed off in some way, but were all very curious about the new girl in the house.

“Okay, how about just frustrated,” Lily asked, “I know you know that one. Just imagine that Celia is here and is just being absolutely her most belligerent.”
That one… was waaaaay easier. All he had to do was recall Celia’s behavior that morning for the facial expression to settle in; knitted, twitching brows, a grimace, and deadpan eyes that seemed done with everyone’s bs.
“is this good enough?”
Lily let out a pleased chuckle, moving back behind her camera. Women were going to absolutely eat up this set, no doubt about that.
“That’s perfect,” she said, chuckled, “Now just hold that and we’ll be done soon enough.”

Very warm, so unlike the cold ones of the witch. Her grip tightened slightly, unwilling to let her friend go. Not another one. Never again.

“Nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life with you,” Lydia said. She pulled Tanya close, into a hug that pinned their arms between their bodies, “I will never let you be sad again, and I will never leave your side, not ever.”

To say Esaias felt awkward was an understatement. If anything, he was a coward, and not the type to get openly angry.
“It’s hard to think of something that’d make me that angry…” he grumbled. He was able to get into the pose easy enough, but even with Erebus very eagerly showing him how it was done with his own damn face he wasn’t quite able to get it to not look a little forced.
