James Maslow feat. Baby Ariel: Lyric Q&A
James Maslow - Q&A March
I’m truly starting to lose my grasp on what’s typical and what’s not, in terms of human behavior. I’m living with some very awful people and their negativity and hatred is starting to infect my mind, so to speak. I’m starting to think that most people are as bad as them and I get easily annoyed and pessimistic. My past includes a suicide attempt, physical abuse, and bullying and the memories of these things keep triggering me. I don’t know how to stay sane until I can afford to leave here.
This too will pass. The shitty things in life always do, so long as you can stay strong. You’ve survived some horrible things and you’re still here, and I’m proud of you for that, nonny.
You’ve already made a very brave first step here by acknowledging these things and wanting to move on from them, that’s fantastic.
I can guarantee that you are a unique, valid and important human being, and we all have the capacity to grow and change and better ourselves.
If you see this, and want to talk to me privately, I am happy to do that, no one should ever suffer alone, or if you prefer, we can keep up the conversation like this.
Just remember, I’ve been to those places too, I understand a lot of what you’re dealing with, and I am always, ALWAYS happy to help.
-James
(Edit: for some reason my phone won’t let me tag this, so I’ll try to remember to do it when I finish work in a few hours)
