Hello. Years ago after I had seen Coco one of my favorite fanfics was a story written by you where Hector and Imelda were slowly rekindling their relationship. I tried to find it again on AO3 and FFdotnet but it’s gone. Is it there a chance you can repost it in the future?

yes, it was taken down and there are currently no plans (as of 5/21) to have it finished. It may be reuploaded someday but I wouldn't hold my breath since I'm not really in that fandom anymore.

Hello! There was a very beautiful fanfic about my most favourite pairing Barnlaw written by you I believe unter the name Jubalii with the title "Snow Day". Unfortunately, it seems to be deleted on fanfic and on Ao3 since I can't find them anymore. I am really sad about that :( Do you know what happenend to it?

Hello! Also yes, that was mine ☺️ recently I removed everything from ff dot net because of security concerns and I deleted quite a bit from Ao3 as well. Some things I just didn’t like anymore as a writer, but others will probably be edited and rewritten/reposted someday. [<- that is, as you can imagine, very time consuming, haha]

I’m really happy that you enjoyed this fic when it was posted, though! I’m afraid I don’t have an HTML copy, or I would offer you one.

My favorite fairy tale is The Princess Mouse, also sometimes called The Forest Bride! I first read it as a kid in a big book of fairy tales from around the world. I believe this one comes from Finland? It’s the story of a farmer’s son who, along with his brothers, goes in search of a wife. He finds a mouse and, not wanting to hurt her feelings, promises to court her as his wife. You can read a version of it here. 

I’m also a big fan of “East of the Sun and West of the Moon”, which is a Scandinavian fairy tale reminiscent of Cupid and Psyche. There’s a very good YA book called East by Edith Pattou; I definitely recommend checking it out if you’re able.

🤔 It’s an even tossup between “Marriage of Convenience” and “There Is Only One Bed”. 

#8: do you prefer happy, bittersweet, or sad endings?

Overall I’d say happy? I’m actually not the biggest fan of angst. 

#12: if you could change one ending to a book/show/game/etc., what would you change about it?

I don’t like that in Skyrim the Blades try to force you to kill Paarthurnax. That seems really unfair after all the time you spend with him. 

#17: are there any tropes you wished were used less often?

Hanahaki, Fuck or Die, any tropes that involve shipping family members (looking at you, twinc*st). I can tolerate Soulmate AU but it’s usually too hokey for my tastes. Highschool AU but only because I wish there were more University AUs instead.
