It’s…It’s literally been hell. Roger skipped out on several sessions and rehearsal for tour. Yunno how he con be, too. Stubborn twat at times, I’ve just about had enough with it….but….but yunno, I think I’ve got a bit of time on Sunday to pop back home for a few hours. Wouldn’t be long, but…yunno…any time spent with you is more like a million hours….

Yeah, everything is great! I can tell she misses you a lot though. I do too. Wish you could come home soon, I know the tour and everything but um...you should just get home as soon as I can love. Oh and you would have been so proud! Today after I was done feeding her, Emma swung her little arm like a windmill! Love you lots dearie, my heart aches everyday you're gone.

I will be home, it’s…yunno. It’s oll this touring rubbish and….don’t even get me started on those fucking hippies. Startin’ to really bother me, those…. ludicrous ideals and….over touchy sort of beings, ollways sneak into concerts and that sort of thing.

What first attracted you to your wife, Pete?

Oh, yunno… we had gone to the same college for quite some time, Ealing art school. I had seen her around, few of my classes, she didn’t exactly catch my eye at first- uhm….she had fancied some upper class bloke with an internship. I wosn’t enraged or anything, I didn’t quite know her that well until I had gone out for drinks with her one night.

I suppose then, yeh. Then’s when I really got to start…noticing her.

I believe she was trying to hit it off with me; I had ignored her advances…. I hadn’t followed through with it because I wosn’t entirely sure if she wos trying to flirt with me or not. Then, yunno…she just sort of…kissed me. I liked that, very brash, sort of went oll for it. Really stuck out in my brain, yunno? I…I’ve ollways liked someone who could be a bit of a challenge. An enigma that was able to be solved and reset into beautiful confusion oll over again.

As Pete walked in Karen cleared her throat and stood, lip quivering. "Peter...I...we need to talk..."

His hands, fidgeting over a few spare sheets of music, begin to move softer as he hears her voice. Ah, Karen. Somehow, the woman would never cease to make his heart shatter and be put back in place. She would always catch his attention—-

“Tolk about wot then?” his curiosity was peaked, naturally, but his tired, dull eyes still glanced over the scribbles and writings, feet waltzing past her briefly. As they passed, he let himself give her a small, warm peck on the cheek, followed by a smile, follow by his movement around the room once more. “Everything ollright, then, luv?”
