Gilly and Matthias are still so in love it’s kind of gross, even after ten years of being together. 

They have sex more often than either would be comfortable admitting. 

All of Gilly’s brothers died from the same genetic disease, and both she and Matthias are terrified of her having it as well. 

Gilly’s father disowned her and kicked her out of the house for refusing to marry the man he’d engaged her to (who was around 60 at the time, while she was 20). She moved in with Matthias a few hours later, and has been there ever since.

3rd Person: Me naked in your bed

[ In which Sean is a hobo prior to joining the Warriors. ]

Lee stopped short when she stepped into her inn room and saw a body sprawled out in the bed.  Had the innkeeper given her the wrong key?  But then why would it open this door if someone was already staying here?  The fact that the man hadn’t stirred when she entered worried her.

“H-Hello?”  She crept closer to the bed slowly dreading the possibility that the last owner had passed away in the bed, HER bed, the night before.  A snore from the man caused her to jump once she got to the foot of the bed.  Okay, whew, he wasn’t dead.

However he was extremely naked.  It was a small blessing (or maybe it wasn’t) that the sheet he was under covered just what was needed but the summer’s heat caused the fabric to cling in ways she tried not to stare over.  Hesitantly she tapped the man’s foot.  “Sir?”

He still didn’t rouse.  Perhaps she should get the owner of the inn to sort this out but she decided to give it one last try, firmly jostling the man the best she could at the foot of the bed.  The red-head gave a snort as he jerked awake and drew a knife he must have had hidden under the pillow, pointing it blindly at the larger shapes in the room before he settled on her.

Sean stared at the girl for a long moment before rubbing his eyes.  “Lass, what are you doing here?”

“I- I- uh.. rented this.. room..” Lee muttered as she backed away from the bed, lifting a hand to shield her eyes from the man’s not-so-covered-any-longer body.

The man’s eyebrows slowly lifted and he lowered the knife.  “Oh.  Ooooh.”  With a light laugh he held up his other hand as a sign to yield.  “Sorry, hold on, it’s not what it looks like.  Close the door, will you?  I’ll leave in just a moment.”  Lee didn’t feel like she should really trust the man but any option that got her further away from him and the knife was a better one.  She walked back across the room to close the door.

“Why are you even here?”  Lee half-watched from the spot near the door as the man sheathed the blade and started to collect his clothing.

“Obvious, ain’t it?  Needed a place to sleep, just like you, but coming up a bit short on the charge.  Let’s keep this between you and me, huh?”  Sean dressed quickly, being sloppy about how his clothes actually fell or if they were the right-side which.  Once he finally strapped the belt holding his sword around his waist he grinned back to her and stepped for the open window.  “Sorry if I warmed the bed up for ya.  Probably not something you want in this heat.”

With a wink the man climbed up onto the window sill and out onto the roof.  Lee’s curiosity got the better of her and she hurried over to the window, looking for the strange man’s escape, and saw him leaving from roof to roof with the help of a large silver bird.
