have you read hussies letter/commentary thing for the epilogues? because after reading it i have to disagree. i dont know specifically to what capacity june will be canon, but hussie seems very eager to let new creators and the fandom have more control over the tone and content of homestuck. apparently he was also very enthusiastic about the idea of june in private. its totally possible that this is a headcanon given more support going forward...
...which i would be totally happy with! like i said i personally love june egbert, just seeing her and thinking about her makes me so happy. i just think the way she was introduced to us all sets a worrying precedent
