Wayne and Linksano reached the edge of the forest and after getting some from it Wayne stumbled to a stop,

It’s okay Wayne, we’ll look after you. Just sleep and everything will be alright. We love you *Tree roots start to come through the ground and begin encircling your legs*

Wayne smile sleepily. It was nice here. He’d been so worked up a moment ago but now he could remember why. Maybe a little rest would do him good. Then through his muggy thoughts were interrupted by Linksano calling him.

O-Oscar, he called, not opening his eyes. Can’t it wait? I’m tired.

“Stay with us for a while. Your brother is fine. We’ll look after both of you.”

It started raining directly over the bus stop. Everyone moved under the shelter and tried to get a seat. Wayne went to read the timetable.

Wayne, Molly and Dominic approached the library just in time to see the door slam shut with Linksano standing outside,

Hi Oscar, Wayne called. Do you know where Harvey is? I found his daughter wandering around lost, like the rest of us.

What I want to know is why us? That glow cloud could have picked up anyone but it picked up us specifically. I wasn't even in the same universe as all of you so I think we can rule out this being a coincidence.

You've just put Lydia to bed when a dead axolotl falls on you’re head. You look up and see what looks like a glowing cloud. It expands and engulfs you. The next thing you know you are standing on the edge of a small town surrounded by sand. There is a sign in front of you, it reads ‘Welcome to Night Vale.’

Wayne looks around at his new surroundings, Not good, not good, not good, he mutters.

He looks around and spots Linksano, Oscar, do you have any idea what’s going on?

Why's your favorite thing you've invented?

Hmm that’s a hard one. I like my giant axolotls and my cheap energy source and the AI Computer that helps Pollo run security here.

I think my favourite inventions are the Communicator that allowed me to get back in contact with Oscar and the Hopster that let me finally meet him again.
