Molly, I’m going in after them. I want you to stay with Dominic out here where it… he was going to say, ‘where it’s safe,’ but he was no longer sure that was true, Where it’s nice and quiet. Do NOT come in after me. If anything happens, I want you to run away.
He turned to Dominic, I don’t know you but I’m going to have to trust you to look after Molly. I’ll be asking her if you did a good job later, Wayne’s face suddenly turned dark, if anything happens to her you’ll regret it for the rest of you miserable and short life. Do I make myself clear?
He turned and entered the library.
Wayne, Molly and Dominic approached the library just in time to see the door slam shut with Linksano standing outside,
Hi Oscar, Wayne called. Do you know where Harvey is? I found his daughter wandering around lost, like the rest of us.
What I want to know is why us? That glow cloud could have picked up anyone but it picked up us specifically. I wasn't even in the same universe as all of you so I think we can rule out this being a coincidence.
It’s the day before they are all due to meet AskThatChick and they’re all sat around the kitchen table eating. Wayne has already managed to tell Insano the new plan and, though they’d prefer it if their loved ones weren’t going to fighting at all, they have both agreed to it.
