Nope, they were killed by Herobrine. Deaths by Herobrine means permadeath, he puts you into hardcore and takes you out forever. No limbo for them, there's no coming back.

Hello! I was wondering, how long is Chapter 1 estimated to be?
Hi, we're thinking maybe 10 - 15 pages long hopefully.
Hopefully, our script on chapter 1 is longer than we thought.
1 - 2 pages will be released when we can, we've slowed down on the pages because 4 pages a release is difficult, so 1 - 2 pages is a lot more manageable on our part!
