Fluttershy, has her owns means of finding out. She says she 'found me' before anything serious happened in that 'void'. Meaning I was probably in comatose for such a time, with the wounds from my 'mind' actually affected me in reality.

It was a weird feeling, you know? Like, I just wanted to die. I didn't need anyone. It was like someone ripped my self-esteem out of my body and smashed into a million pieces. That's not like me at all, is it?

But...maybe I really did want her to help me. Who knows. She bandaged me up, though.

It was a little odd. I suddenly disappeared from this existance, and endured, maybe 6 months in a....hm...void? Maybe? It was pretty painful.
