See, I'm super conflicted about this ship.

Yes, I think they'd be really adorable together. 

But in my Phantom Time headcanon, Danny met Marceline as a child. And since they've aged differently, although Danny's like 7 years older, Marceline looks 18 compared to Danny's 14. So, Danny probably still sees Marceline as the little girl he took care of. And even if say Marceline had developed a sort of crush on Danny as a child or something, Danny would still be hung up on Plant Princess, etc.

But man they are such bros. Just imagine the two of 'em flying around Ooo causing mischief, oh man. Oh man. Ooo has no chance.

So, I'm stuck in a rut between shipping them (vs shipping Danny and Sam) and loving their bromance. 

But guess what, you've excited me so I plan on drawing Danny and Marceline and when I post it, I'll put your username in the tags.
