Are you going to do another livestream soon?
I'm considering doing one shortly, trying do decide wether I think I can draw in a stream or not.
After seeing that last question, I have to say, I'd LOVE to see your take on WWII-Era Ships such as the Bismarck and Yamato, even a carrier like the Enterprise would look amazing in the air.
Space Battleship YAMATOOOOOO
Haha, sorry. I probably will actually do it now, seems fun x_x
What's the most attractive part of the human body to you?
Hmm, I guess I've always found the curve of the spine and the area near the shoulder blades to be really beautiful. After taking life drawing a couple times I just really like all the weird random bumps on the body. Dunno, I don't think I really have a good solid answer for this one, sorry!
Could you draw more modern types of airboats, like a Battleship equivalent instead of a galleon one? I've just recently discovered this blog, and most of the boats I see are very old-fashioned sailing ships. (In case you misinterpret this, I'm asking if it is within your interest/ability. This is not a request.)
I certainly could make up something like that! I've been sticking with sailing yachts since they fit the particular needs of my story. Most of the vessels I'm interested in are late 19th/early 20th century...I've used sail vessels from the time as inspiration, but I'm also fond of that era's military vessels too.
To properly answer your question though, I *would* enjoy making airships based on other, more modern, vessels. Maybe when I find time :x
Hmmm, given that you have a good sense of nautical vessels, as well as a penchant for the mystical and fantastical, if give the resources and the time to construct quickly, what sort of vessel would you create for yourself to travel in, and would it be limited to only one style of movement, such as the ocean, the land, or the sky, or have multiple modes to traverse by?
The Corona Borealis is pretty much my fantastical dream boat, haha.
Uh, is Captain Luna going to become dark/grimdark?
Grimdark: no. A few dark elements? Perhaps yes, but only in the service of the story, and to make those bright moments even sweeter.
How much time it takes to make a pattern for clothing from just one drawing of it?
It depends on the complexity of the garment! (also I'm a slow pattern maker)
A basic skirt can be done in less than an hour, depending...and weird things like a coat with crazy zips and pockets and details can take hourrsssssss. Real pattern makers can just blow through stuff, but I have no idea how fast they work. 'Cause pattern makers are crazy.
Anyway, drafting is a process with usually takes a couple revisions to get right. Do it once based on the drawings and other specifications, assemble a test garment, make necessary adjustments...repeat and refine as needed.
