3) What’s your opinion on Murdoc?A very intelligent and misunderstood man. People like to demonize him a lot. To be fair, he is an asshole. But people seem to forget he was shit on as a kid, and never learned how to properly deal with failure. He’s talented and driven and obsessed with being successful, but he drinks himself dead because he’s still very insecure and he’s violent and callous towards people close to him out of jealousy. He’s more keen on doing his own thing rather than trying to get close to people and live around their expectations. I’ll defend him to death :)

6) Most under-apprieciated song?New Genius

15) What do you think Phase 4 is going to be like?Seems to be giving me an homage-to-the-greats feel. Jamie’s been giving us teasers with Blondie, Hendrix, Bowie, etc., and that fragmented picture with 2D and Murdoc at the piano has piles of books of famous classical composers. The visuals themselves have homages to pop-art, an art movement that originated in Britain and permeated pop culture, and 3D, one of the biggest visual innovations of this century. I wonder if the concept of the album will have something to do with that.
