Hmmm, I think Donn’s type would be someone who’s clingy and a bit crazy to fit him (in a way that makes them be willing to deal with his psychotic ass). If it helps he’d def be into the yandere trope cuz then he has the security that no matter what he does they’re not leaving.

The other “type” he’d have would be towards sweet/innocent, too innocent and gullible to fuck him over or manipulate him, and too dependent to leave. He has serious abandonment issues and gets possessive of people he starts to like, and if they don’t return that he dgaf he’ll make them.

Basically either match his freak or be too weak to escape his freak LMAO

Gender wise he has no real preference! He does view women as more of a “romantic” option and in general can get more comfortable faster with them, cuz in his mind they don’t have a dick so they “can’t” assault him, but his ex has been a dude obv. so he also takes interest in guys. (Donn is pan and doesn’t care what the other person identifies as, if it gets him hard that’s what he’s into now basically.)

Appearance wise Donn likes thighs and some chub on a person, he likes squishing people and not feel their bones lol. He’s a sucker for height difference (not that difficult for him) but towards where he’s bigger than the other because as soon as someone bigger than HIM he gets a bit weirded out by that person.

Could you describe to me your PCs love language and why?

Donn’s love language are acts of service, or gifts.

Not the common way, he doesn’t gift roses or chocolate romantically, he’s more the type. You mentioned something passingly you like? He gets it at some random day for you when he passes by that again. You say you like a specific type of food? He’ll think on it and try to cook it (not for you ofc you just gave him an idea and might as well try if it’s good). You like a certain movie he’ll take a look at it to see if it’s any good.

He isn’t really aware of it himself because to him that’s just stuff he does, but he engages a lot with people’s interests and remembers small details but he isn’t the type to ever mention it until it comes up again.

His Love language is basically letting people into his life rather than ignoring them, or getting rid of them - text them when smth reminded him of them (in the worst most unwholesome way probably), take note of their habit, remember small details like scars or freckles or moles on their body.

He also likes touching people! But to him that’s not a Love language anymore because of how common assault and groping is, and he doesn’t differentiate between “good” or “bad” touch cuz he assumes his touch is always bad to people lol

Would Donn ever get interested in a PC whos actually strong enough to fight him off? Or would he see them as a treat to his status? Asking this since i absolutely grinded my own pc physique stat and now she beats the shit out of everyone lol.

I’ll be honest I don’t rly go by game stats because I just cannot imagine any scrawny looking orphan to be able to fight Eden off (like I imagine him to look like), so answering questions like that is kinda like powerscaling which I don’t care or like much. In the end the person who wants to win more will find ways why their character would win a fight etc. so just assuming from she can fight Donn off successfully to the point he actually cannot assault her, he’d honest to god just. Probably be buddies with her lmao.

Currently his friends are an evil lesbian (I say this very affectionately to Callie <3), an emotionally constipated gooner (Bailey’s lapdog Innogen HAHA), and a serial murderer rapist (Sammy) he basically forces to be his friends by annoying tf outta them all.

I think Donn would be impressed and show some respect to someone being able to hold a candle to him, like he’ll still fight and mess with her but also get drunk with her and treat her more like “one of the guys” basically. So no, he probably wouldn’t get interested sexually or romantically but he wouldn’t outright hate him or feel threatened in his status unless she is actively trying to disrespect him. Fighting him isn’t disrespect to him, that’s just regular clashing horns together so to say.

Wanted to pop in and say I really love your art and am enamoured by Donn!!! YOU mentioned that Donn can be met at the docks if you've been sold, but can you meet him if you work there, too?

To your question, he can absolutely be met when working at the docks! He’s one of the more experienced dockers who’ll help guide you into your job essentially, show you the ropes and whatnot. While he isn’t exactly a supervisor, due to him being considered the “boss” of the more rowdy crew, he holds a certain respect by everyone else - basically if he wants to he can cause serious trouble and make workers revolt, which the actual supervisors want to avoid. Having experience with prison riots and whatnot helps.

You can also spot him at night talking to Wren (the event where he catches you holding a gun), or loading/unloading suspiciously large human-noise making cargo. Usually if you leave him alone he leaves you alone, but if you try to befriend the dockers and earn your respect, there’s no way around Donn - he’s gotta see for himself if you’re cut out to become part of his crew after all.

Chances are though if you become part of his crew, you can get your ass saved from Briar’s brothel (they’re more or less regulars and will free you if you’re stuck in the gloryholes and they happen to be there), or if you swim too far out Donn is gonna reel you back in by boat.

Your alcohol tolerance is also gonna get a massive boost, or your kidney is gonna fail. Either way, you’re drinking with them.

He has! I imagine Robin meets Donn& his crew quite often unfortunately and is big part of their trauma. So whenever they cry to PC it’s about Donn LMAO

how would donn react to someone (specifically an orphan) coming back to meet him, following him to the pub and the docks, basically trying to insert themself into his life after he bought them from bailey?

Donn would think they‘re just highkey crazy, probably feel a little bad that this „kid“ (he just calls ppl kid that are way younger than him) is walking after him like some lost puppy, but he‘d still wreck their shit every time. Basically hey they‘re around me, free use toy. Not my fault they keep putting themselves into situations (<- 100% his fault). I think he‘d assault them a few times thinking eventually they‘ll stop coming around but when they KEEP coming he‘d be. Hey why the fuck are you still here kid. Are you daft. Do you have a death wish or something.

I imagine he‘d literally treat them like a stray, be dismissive at first and try „shoo“ them away and then at some point he‘s starting to leave some food outside (figuratively throwing them a bone) cuz he‘d get a little concerned this orphan keeps coming back to get their shit rocked. THAT‘S tho if the orphan isn’t trying to manipulate his life or work tho, or acting up otherwise (if they follow him around like Kylar and get possessive he‘d turn more cruel to get rid of them 💀).
