Hiltwin stopped and stared for a moment, seeing his role model like this made his stomach wrench. He started towards him, but stopped himself, whilst his instinct to offer what sympathy he could was usually right, he could never tell with other men weather it would make things worse. Things were even more confusing in the wizarding world. After brief internal debate, he made his way over, “are you okay?” he said, laying a gentle hand on his shoulder.
Hiltwin recoils, conflicted, on the one hand, it made him feel all warm and fuzzy, but on the other hand, he knew it wasn’t allowed for boys to kiss other boys, even if it was on the cheek. The look he gave Irmin showed his confusion, he coughed awkwardly, blushing furiously, and rubbed the back of his neck the way he did when he felt awkward. Anyway, he didn’t like Irmin like that, he was a boy, that wasn’t normal, maybe if he was a girl he’d find Irmin attractive, but that’d never happen. And even so, he had offended Hiltwin by imitating him on the hilltop beneath the tree. Finally he spoke after a long silence “why’d you do that?”.
Hiltwin pauses for a moment to think. "ooh, maybe an anchor on my wrist, and a butterfly on my neck, and wings, on my back, definitely wings” He says definitively.
