Have you ever wondered what it’s like riding a horse? People in movies make it look so effortless, not to mention elegant! Some people say riding a motorcycle is a close second, is it? I would like to think a horse is infinitely better looking than a motorcycle.

Peyton: I need a memory like an elephant.
Peyton: Or even a rat... Did you know they have a memory like a computer? That's probably why remy was such a great chef.
Peyton: Or there's chimps, but everyone knows they're one of the most intelligent animals. There's this one chimp in japan who is UNBEATABLE at memory games.
Peyton: None of this information is going to help me tomorrow though.
Peyton: ... I think I may be losing my mind.
I’m literally bored and because of that, I’ve been thinking. What if we all had some kind of game night at my house? It could be like clue, but you guys wouldn’t really have to put in any kind of work. Just show up and be ready to be amazed. I’ve been watching a few things here and there on Pinterest and also movies and I think it could be fun. Then we could just have a bonfire in the back and call it a day with a lot of alcohol. Or you don’t gotta play and can just get drunk. Whatever. Just a suggestion, and I might be totally off par by suggesting but let me know what you think. If you guys wanna do it, I’ll toss it together and make it happen cause distractions are great.
Does it count as moved in when you have half a truck unloaded into your new house but you’re still at the hotel for one more night?
I think it’s close enough.
Hey there, Doveport. My kid and I are new here, as of yesterday. Still getting settled and all that good stuff. Happy to be here!
Honestly, leave it to me to nearly set off the smoke alarms trying to cook a steak... Luckily, it was actually still really good or tonight would’ve ended with a very defeated call for takeout.
If there’s one good thing about spending two weeks in hospital, it’s being allowed to sit on your bed with your dog all day, watching all three Thor movies, while your mom takes over your apartment and makes you mint tea every five minutes. Seriously, it’s like I finish one cup and she already has another cup waiting for me. My pulmonologist said I can go back to work tomorrow, but something tells me that she is going to follow me there with a kettle. Gotta love moms, always going above and beyond for you.
So, going back to work is never really that fun but let me just tell you, I went to walk in and my co-worker literally hugged the hell out of me and said I wasn’t allowed to leave anymore. I’m gonna take it that I was missed. She said it looked like I really had it all together this morning. I don’t know how. Though, whenever I looked down before I walked out of the apartment this morning, I noticed that I had on two totally different shoes and thank God I picked up on it because that could have been bad. So, while this is the longest shift of my life, what are you guys doing today? Anything fun?
