It's mostly if someone hits the wrong buttons.  He's got some fairly obvious ones, mostly people just seem to enjoy pushing them to rile him up or they don't pay enough attention and accidentally hit a sore spot.

Really, if you treat him like a normal 'mon and aren't a total jerk, then he's much nicer than most give him credit for.

Or am I ruining some tough guy rep he's built up whoops.

He wins even in type-advantaged fights...

I mean, I can handle my own, yeah.  But I've only really trained in highly structured and organized battles.  Plei has been fighting for his life in the wild.

He's also quite a bit more agile and fast than I am.

I'm getting better, though!  We spar a lot.

Yes, I've had that said to me.

Though I'm fairly certain that this is what they're actually referring to, at least in regards to the recent up-swing in use of the term; I was surprised to find this already in the newest poké-zoology book I purchased seeing as it's such a new discovery.  But it's just dandy, because now people can use the insult and defend it with "but I'm just referring to your type!"

I must admit, though, I will have a LOT of fun then educating people on why fairies are awesome and dangerous thanks to both the fact that I can probably beat them in a battle, and also due to knowledge gleaned from the large collection of fairytale books we have around the household~

It’s okay Heinrich, don’t worry about him.  I don’t want you getting into any trouble by trying something because of what he said.  You still have to lay low, right?

Once you’re more free to be moving around, though, you can definitely come and visit again (you made a great impression at New Year’s)

Okay then.  And yes, he probably has.  But some ‘mon have more fortitude than you’d think.  And he seems to be handling it.  Though should any issues arise from it, I’ll be there to do what I can.
