Since it worked so well for you, is there an equivalent show or shows that you can suggest for someone learning Korean to watch on repeat? Obviously, one that is available on DVD? Hi Nichole!It depends what kind of dialect you are trying to learn!“Standard” or “Seoul” dialect can be found in most dramas or TV shows, though a lot of them are very, well, dramatic. I think the best thing to look into is a reality TV show that interests you. There are often shows that feature idols as well!If you are more interested in other dialects, there are many movies or shows that feature people from say Busan and Daegu, if you are more interested in speaking like Yoongi hyung or Jiminie! I don’t know what your taste is exactly, but there are lots and lots of reality TV shows to watch with all sorts of people, so you can pick up even some local slang.I hope this has been helpful, thank you for your question!
