I am very confused about something, though. Are all of the main routes not available to players yet? The more I look around for new information, the more it seems like the game itself is just missing content?

The thing about Cybird's games is that the main routes will be released over time. They usually start with 3 "starter routes", followed by the other routes after a couple of months. As of now... only the main routes for William, Harrison, Liam, Elbert, and Alfons are available. It's the same for their other games like Ikemen Prince, Ikemen Genjiden etc. :)
