Howl had found another abandon house these always interesting things he could add to his collection. Howl rummaged through the house till he heard someone else come in, he sensed this was someone who could see him and that always made things worse.

The words were utterly flattering, and Meowth was rendered speechless a moment, as such praise didn’t come easily to the mangy feline. “Gee, that’s an awfully nice thing to say,” he chirped, swaying from side to side a bit. “If you really wanna see me happy, you oughta buy me some lunch!” He’d said it so that it had the hint of a joke to it, so that if she had no intentions on feeding him, it wouldn’t seem terribly rude. (At least, that’s what he was aiming for, anyway.) He could only hope he wasn’t pushing his luck with her, as he hadn’t forgotten the large meal she had generously provided for him earlier.

"Wow, a talking Meowth!" Nora knelt down in front of the intelligent Pokemon. "Not only are you the first Meow I've seen, but I've never come across a talking Pokemon. You must be one smart cookie~"

Oh, Meowth really didn’t need this ego boost right now, but he was more than happy to eat it up.”You bet I am, kid. I’ve been around the block once or twice, and I think it’s safe to say I’m one of the smartest Pokemon around, so you must be pretty lucky to have bumped into me!” An arrogant chuckle quickly followed his words.
