And, out of nowhere, a yellow puff ball has appeared and has landed himself perfectly on the others lap. Enjoy your new lap warmer and enjoy being a pillow for the Pika.

     The sudden action startles the scratch cat, enough so that he jolts backwards slightly in shock. He’s quick to relax, however, recognition glinting in his eyes as they gaze down upon the yellow lump in his lap.

     A small chuckle leaves his throat. “Couldn’t’ve even given me any warning, huh? You should be more careful. One of these days, ya might catch me so off-guard that I’ll swing a Fury Swipes at ya without even thinkin’ about it.” Though his words seemed to be a warning, his whiskers wouldn’t cease twitching in amusement, indicating that the chances of him actually directing a Fury Swipes at Pikachu on accident was unlikely.

A headcanon? Well I don't know if this counts, but I'd like to think that meowth tries to act tough against physical contact like petting or rubbing but actually likes the affection but will never admit it. Just based on what I've seen of him.

i agree with this headcanon 100000% i’ve always stood by that idea!! i mean, if u think about it, in every boss fantasy he’s had where he winds up with the boss, the boss is petting him or cuddling him or hugging him. he even had a robot modeled after the boss that just sat there and PET HIM!!! i really truly honestly think what meowth wants most in the world is love and no one can convince me otherwise.

11-12?? i think?? i frequented nutrinopets (which was a watered down version of neopets that had way more focus on the forums) and did lots of warriors rps and shapeshifting stuff. animalish things have always been my favorite things to rp

i haven't rped an oc in years, but i do love me some oc rping!!! i guess canon has to be my answer tho haha.

females or males?

aaa again i have to admit i haven't rped a female in years. dang. so, uh, males.

least favorite face claim?

oh uhh i don't have one?? i've never really been involved with that face claim business, for the fact that i personally prefer looking at pics of fictional chars over pics of real people. that probably sounds odd but yeAH. but more power to those who use face claims, i've got nothin against em!!!

worst rp experience ever?

hmm... idk if i really have a worst rp experience, fortunately. i've had times where i've been outright ignored within an rp community, and those are pretty terrible. but otherwise?? nothing to complain about!

fluff, angst, or smut?

fluff and angst!!! i have never rped smut before. (is that bad???)

worst character you’ve ever played?

uh??? idk if i have one of these. i would never rp a character i dont like. i mean, if by 'worst' u mean a character that has the worst intentions, then meowth would be the obvious choice. but he doesn't have bad intentions. he's just more of an antag than any char i've ever played before.

at what time of day is your writing the best?

really depends!! i find that i'm most inspired earlier into the day. the later it gets, the lazier i get. again, though, this depends. sometimes i get pumped about writing at around 8pm, sometimes at midnight, sometimes around dinner time. it really all falls on my level of productivity i guess.

worst thing about rp?

WRITERS BLOCK. writers block is the worst thing ever and i've been completely consumed by it on a NUMBER of occasions and it's just terrible and kills everything for me. (that and losing my muse.)

best thing about rp?

i LOVE MEETING NEW PEOPLE. there are so many amazing people u get to meet through rp, and it's just??? gREAT like i really love it. 

i also love the feeling of collaborating with someone to write. rping gives me a feeling unlike any other. i never get the same level of satisfaction that i get from rping when i try to write something out by myself. it's just not the same. there isn't that great feeling of seeing someone respond to u, and reading their amazing response, and getting full of emotion because they put so much heart and soul into their character.

Congrats! You're a new character in Smash 4

     The beginnings of excitement had just started to work their way on Meowth’s face at the news, when, just as quickly as it had built, his enthusiasm faded. He was swift to realize that the statement was likely false. After all, he hadn’t received one of those official letters in the mail. And this “messenger” of sorts didn’t seem to have anything on their person that even slightly resembled an envelope.

     ”Ha ha, very funny.” The dry words were accompanied with a biting glare, his ears folding behind his head. Not even a hint of amusement touched his face. In fact, he almost looked a little… hurt.

     ”I almost was in the first Smash, y’know! And I woulda been a force to be reckoned with, believe you me,” he griped. “That’s pro’lly the reason they booted me from the roster. Didn’t want me runnin’ laps around all those wannabes.” A soft scoff was given as the scratch cat gave a pretentious up-turn of his head, tail lashing wildly.

     The surprised look is noticeable on the others features. The way his head tilts slowly as he allows his ear to droop briefly. It’s not like he hadn’t gotten use to Meowth being complimentary towards him; however, despite their friendship, there was always something that was deep down. Past influences often making him weary, fainttrust issues, but they always were hidden. Himself not wanting Meowth to know. Though, right now, his surpriseat the words is so great there’s no hiding it. He’s known Meowth long enough that he can call Meowth out on his ‘lies' easily and see through them. This? This was the truth. Just like everything he spoke to him as of recent behind the backs of their humans.

      And, with this in mind, the surprised look recedes as he moves close. Pausing only briefly to offer a warm smile before, letting out a chuckle, he jumps on the tips of his toes and bounds forward to fling his arms tightly around the feline.

                      “I've missed you—”

      His voice is muffled against the other and it takes him a few seconds to realize that his eyes are watery. Not sad, no, but happy. He can’t remember the last time they were alone and didn’t have to pretend. Didn’t have to worry. It was more than enough to break down a slight wall as he goes as far to wrap his tail around the others middle with a smile.

                      “—I've missed you a whole bunch.”

     Whereas the scratch cat had previously had a tendency to stiffen upon being embraced by Pikachu, he relaxed into the hug this time. In fact, he practically melted into Pikachu's touch, his lanky arms wrapping around the rodent's body as he sank downward, nuzzling his chin between two elongated ears.

     "I've missed you too," he murmured, linking his own tail around his companion's, yearning to pull him impossibly closer. 

     He felt two pinpricks of dampness mat his stomach fur, and he immediately rushed to comfort his friend. "Hey, shh, don't cry! I'm here now, ain't I?" And with those words, he reluctantly peeled himself away from Pikachu, fixing him with an assuring smile.

Here's an idea for you and your friends to consider. Get a Team Rocket Pikachu, loyal to the team, and have him secretly observe Ash and his Pikachu's relationships for some time. And then stage a mock attempt to capture Pikachu so you can swap the Pika, and yours will pose as Ash's long enough for you to deliver his to the boss.

     A soft scoff and a flick of the ear indicate Meowth’s clear disinterest in this plan. For one, he hadn’t come up with it, and this alone caused indignation to prickle at his fur. For another, he knew that the plan was far too intricate to work. There were too many holes in it, too many flaws that would make it impossible to pull off.

     Or, at least, he thought so.

     ”Thanks for the offer, bud, but I’m gonna have to pass on your little idea.”
