Silent Anxiety [Anxietypills!au CLOSED]

Anxiety had always been close with Parker, until a few weeks before. Anxiety had stopped showing up. He didn’t leave his room, unless he was getting gatorade or something mild to eat. Even then he didn’t banter with Roman, or smile at Patton like usual. He looked at Parker briefly at least, before passing by Fear to return to his room.

Now and again they would hear a soft cough from inside but it was otherwise silent. Eventually he stopped appearing in videos, claiming to be too tired.

Virgil knocked on the door to Parker's room. He had this mostly planned out. He had his phone and earbuds in his pocket. He was going to ask Parker to go to the park with him.

@aps, Human AU: Parker had been home when someone broke in. He’d been there when the valuables were taken. He’d been there when the burglar found him and fired the gun. Parker had been there when the burglar had fled as Parker began to bleed out onto the carpet, unable to move, unable to reach a phone. He stared up at the ceiling, gasping, feeling hot sticky red slip down his chest. Would anyone come home? Would he die alone? He was staining the carpet...Everyone would be so angry with him.

Virgil had gotten off work early and come home, things were not right to say the least, “Parker? Parker!” he yelled starting to feel fear and worry claw at his throat. “Parker!” he yelled running through the house calling the police for help when he found him. “Parker...” he gasped and ran to him, kneeling down, “I’m here, Parker.” he took off his hoodie and pressed it over the wound, “Please don’t give up, emergency services are coming...” he rambling feeling sick to his stomach.

@ask-parker-sanders: When Virgil dies, Parker tries to find all of the music that they listened together. MCR, FOB, Panic!; he tries to find all of them. He then realizes that there was one song they listened to on their first date, and he remembers the feelings it invokes, but he can't remember the artist or the melody. He searches everywhere for it but can't find it, and so he then feels as though he permanently loses a part of Virgil because he can't find it...

@ask-parker-sanders: When Virgil dies, Parker doesn't believe it at first. He thinks it's a dream and he'll wake up. He doesn't, of course, and when he finally accepts that he won't, the days become longer. He talks less and less until he doesn't at all. He listens to music all the time now, hoping that maybe he'll feel Virgil with him, if he just closes his eyes and focuses on the music. He holds Virgil's jacket close every night when he sleeps until it loses Virgil's smell, and even after that
