Why do you wear an eyepatch?

Why do you wear an eyepatch?
Rena: It was a very horrifying experience,
especially with how abnormal that stray was compared to the others.
How did you two meet?
Boris: we were stuck in that hole for 12 days.

Where do you two live now?
Why were you kicked out Rena?
Rena: Well.....
Rena: Everyone at my Village was horrified when my brother showed them what had happened. I tried to explain why, but they wouldn't listen!

How did you get those scars, Boris?
Boris: My scars? Those are all from fights with some pesky monsters I had to endure because they don't like mindin' their own business! But it's fine, I enjoyed smashing their heads with my shovel and putting them in the ground!!
