Ask Ryan Ross

I've had several asks, which I don't feel like posting, asking me my opinion on the blog "askryanross".

Alright, this will be the only time I will comment on this issue of askryanross.tumblr.

I had a fellow Panic! fan show me the link to the blog and I checked it out. It's similar to any ask blog, the person running it is trying to respond as "Ryan Ross" so almost like a RP blog in a way. I think I'm okay with that. I don't agree with what they are posting, I don't like blogs like that in general, and I don't follow blogs like that.

However.

I did notice while looking through the entire blog, that a lot of Panic! at the Disco fans were sending this person hate, just because they don't like what that person was doing on their blog and because that person did swamp out the Ryan Ross tag.

I did check the Ryan Ross tag afterwards and really, other than a few posts, I didn't see anything to call it "swamped out" or anything like that by askryanross.

 Now, I don't agree with what they're posting, but that doesn't mean I have any right to shun them for it or send them hate or anything of that sort. Doing things like that is just immature and pointless and a waste of energy.

In fact, I actually want to congratulate whoever is running that blog for their responses to the hate, so whoever you are, if you read this, good job, you handled that better than many people I would know, better than I probably would had done.

Sure, people can go and express their opinions on that blog, I mean not everyone will like it, I don't like it, but calling someone stupid and doing things to make them feel bad and hurt, that is called bullying. No one likes it when they get bullied, so why do they all do it to other people? No one deserves it, no matter what they've done and as far as I can see, askryanross did nothing other than start a blog for fun and tag some posts and in response the P!ATD fandom goes and rips them apart.

Way to go, you guys. You should be proud of yourselves.

That is just ridiculous.

Like I've said in that other post, I'm ashamed of you all.

No one deserves to be treated like that. No matter what they've done.
