I want to know more about this. What kind of place was he staying in during that time? Who among the locals did he get along with best(aside from the one he's met before)? When the time came to return to the City, did he bring souvenirs?

Monster Truck Island, while primarily inhabited by sentient monster trucks (shocker) is also confirmed to have humans living there, considering some episodes of the YouTube Monster Trucks series feature a human commentator covering the events taking place, meaning the island likely does have somewhere for Mac to stay. Considering most of the land seen is woodlands or forests, accommodation would probably be something along the lines of a small cabin, nearby to the base of operations.

While Mega-Wrex acts as the spokesperson for Monster Truck Island to Hot Wheels City, and Mac's primary guide and host during his stay, I think he would get along well with Race Ace! Upon his return to the city, I'd like to think he brought his friends back gifts- although I'm not sure what they would be.
