PSA: Sending Anon Asks

Hey all just a note on sending asks as our inbox just got a fair few.

While we love asks in our inbox and are accepting of anons coming in there are some boundaries.

First and foremost we aren't a rec blog. So asking us to recommend a certain type of fic, art or whatever probably won't get you anywhere. Especially if it comes in the form of the one we just received about not wanting anything POC. -We don't do that shit here. Any interpretation of the characters is welcome in this space. Period.

You're always welcome to send in asks recommending micros or just wanting to share some love for the micro authors. That we love to see.

But please don't use this space to harass authors for updates to micros that have become a @jilymicro-oops , showing appreciation is one thing. Badgering is entirely another.

You're welcome to suggest one word prompts to add to our list. But we won't reply to all of them. Lists come out once a month and we already have several lined up. So don't be disappointed if you don't see what you've suggested.

And of course it goes without saying you're always welcome to ask questions about taking part in prompt lists or events we host.

GAME OF DIPLOMACY AU - Sending Asks PSA

Hey guys, I feel pretty honoured to be getting so much interaction and engagement from people across fandoms, different characters and spectators with regards the Game of Diplomacy AU. It's great to see so many of you guys want to be a part of this world we've created. I adore getting asks and I love fleshing out this AU with you all, so before I get to this point I really don't want you to think that asks are something I find negative. I love them. Throw all the asks at me.

The issue lies in when people send asks anonymously and then proceed to sign off from a blog that does not belong to them. This has been happening increasingly regularly to not just myself, but some others in the GoD AU. Whilst I'm sure it's from a position of curiosity to see how certain characters would respond when put in certain situations, it leads to a degree of confusion. I find myself writing RP responses for threads that my RP partner didn't even send me the starter for. It's getting kinda wacky.

So. I guess what I'm saying is, I'm not mad or anything. I'm flattered people are loving the AU, but if you're curious as to how a certain interaction would go, or if my sentence starters get you wondering about stuff by your means you are more than welcome to reach out in an ask. However, what I do request is that you don't tag yourself as a blog that isn't yours and instead ask how such an interaction between the characters would pan out. I'll happily write snippets if that's the sort of thing you're after. That way nobody gets confused or feels like their character is being used by someone else. Keeps things neat and tidy, you dig?

Questions/Asks PSA

Hello everyone, we appreciate all the excitement and support you have shown us for the zine thus far - we have received many questions, comments, and even compliments and fanmail! 

However, it has come to our attention that some of the questions sent to us can already be answered via our Info Post, Application Post or FAQ/answered asks. It would be of great help to us if you could all refer to these posts first before sending in a question in case it has already been answered. 

Furthermore, if your question has not been answered within 3 days, it means that either the question has already been answered or it will be answered in a future post/ announcement!
