I mean, The Deku Tree just told us not to leave the forest, otherwise bad things would happen...
Before Link, nobody could remember someone leaving the forest and coming back. So, because of that, no one has told us what happens...
But even after Link left, we're all still kind of scared to leave...

I went to my first con and cosplayed for the first time this weekend at Anime Boston! I was super stoked to hear that Ask Majora's Mask and Ask Poe Collector's admins would both be there and we got a picture of the three of us -- Poe Collector (left), Majora (middle), and me, Saria (right).
It was fantastic to meet you lovely ladies! If you don't follow them already, you should reevaluate your life choices and follow them.
