The Man standing before him is quite calm, in a plain white lab coat with his ID tag still clipped to it. A plain white rollneck sweater, black slacks, and neat, polished, shoes. Nothing about his appearance gave way his eagerness to speak to this, ‘other’ Sans.
“It needn’t be scientific in nature, frankly I am still getting my bearings about all these others, so a chat about, well… anything would be agreeable.” He said honestly nodding as the skeleton stood anyway and suggested a walk.
“Please, I appreciate your humoring a stranger.” His hands clasped behind his back in a relaxed way he walked along with the skeleton appreciating for a moment, the calm.
“It is easy to forget the sound of silence in a busy lab.” He says absently.
“dunno if I’d call this chunk of roadkill county silent. if you listen close there’s all sorts of sounds out there. wildlife lurking in the woods and living their lives. it’s really peaceful out here.” he comments while they make their way out behind the old looking house he’d been sitting out front of with plans of making their way down a dirt path to the woods.
“so you only recently figured out enough about string theory to discover multiversal travel? must be a real early development universe you’re from. you already know who i am, so that whole ‘i’m technically your son but don’t get weird about it’ business is already figured out.”
He pulls a cigar out of his hoodie and lights it up to smoke while they walk. Smells like vanilla and cherries, “but you just got done tellin me you don’t need a big scientific talk. lets jive casual like then. monsters are out of the underground where we are right now. have been that way for a few years now. How bout you?”
