thank you so much for this, anon! i've been out for so long that i sometimes forget how many people enjoyed my stuff, and to know that some even re-read really makes me feel super appreciated. 🫂 i have to say that the rise of chatgpt and ai in the past three years have also been super discouraging, especially because i felt personally victimised by the em-dash ai-indicator shit (as many ao3 and fanfic writers currently struggle with). but i'll get back to it eventually. i have a lot of unfinished drafts catching dust and i'm sure i'll publish them when i'm better. until then, thank you for re-reading and your love! 🩷

returned to reading teacher's pet and remembered why I wasn't able to finish it the first time, they make me SICK. I've just finished c14 and the only thing I'm sure about happening in the rest of it is more fucking, because of course, they must. will Charles go back to Monaco and never see Seb again? will Hanna find out? I have genuinely no fucking clue at this point. the tension, the fucking tension (and the tension fucking) is insane. I don't know how you've done that, it's truly impressive. I almost never read sebchal fics, I main landoscar & sewis but nonetheless this manages to be one of the most memorable fics I've read EVER. and I've been reading fics for years. it's been many months since I first read Seb's shoes walking into the bathroom, Charles streaming with Seb behind the camera, but those moments are unforgettable. Charles's accusatory little "who is sitting on my couch in the middle of the night?" burnt a hole right through me. art.

i am genuinely excited for you to read more and find out where the journey is heading. oh, to be able to read and write this for the first time again, when the inspiration and the content was at its peak. *sigh*

it fills me with so much joy that in the past month i've seen more and more people talk about this fic even though a) it's not their usual ship or/and b) it's been months since i last uploaded (and c) the ship is not as prominent as it was, but hey we're still here).

it's a bit nerve-wrecking the more time i let pass between updates, but i have to say (and i really thought some people were over exaggerating) the more feedback i'm getting, the better the motivation gets. i hope i can give you and the other readers the high and same feel of the previous chapters as you continue. thank you for sharing your thoughts and also for dropping by on my other account and enabling my silly little au's and blurbs. i'd love to get back to those.

omg no, it's not wrong at all! i appreciate every reader who's still interested and i appreciate this message so much! it's super considerate of you to be so mindful about my current (writing-) situation. 💕

i had a fully planned out storyline for TP, but that was from 2022 and reading it back now is a bit of a pain because i don't really vibe with it anymore. fixing/re-imagining the ending is just suuuper hard with everything else going on for me. sometimes i do get moments of intense inspiration though, and chapter 19 has at least SOME THINGS going for it currently. part of the delay is probably also the fact that i'm super scared of disappointing/not delivering with the ending that i'm imagining and what everyone else wants to read (if that makes sense?).

worst thing for me would be to receive a message reading like "you made me wait 3 years for THIS?", you know? it's very hard to manage everyones expectations and not neglect my own standard. 😪

anyways, sorry for the long explanation and thank you again for dropping by and waiting so patiently!

he was so mesmerising, i couldn't keep my eyes off him, those eyes, the messy hair (in the flashbacks), that bone structure... favourite scene I think has to be the dorm room scene or the scene with the churros or the scene where zendaya asks him if art is still in love with her in the diner (sorry I can't choose 😭😭). Not sure that I know any unpopular opinions? The ending omg, I sat there in disbelief, i wanted answers, i literally didn't move until the full credits came on cause i thought they might give something more

we were really spoiled with that marvel after credits breadcrumb phase, huh? kinda conditioned to get just the tiniest bit of more content 🥲 but i am actually pretty content with the open ending. the fics and theories that came (and are still coming) out of those last scenes are immaculate!

but 100% agree on all of mike faist's scenes having you, and me, mesmerised!!! i was shooketh when they brought out the first flashback. but also MY GOD THAT SAUNA SCENE 😃 it really makes you think.
