when things have gone mostly back to normal after the apocalypse, we see the six adult players remaining in respective pairs. the kids stick together as a group, because they are eleven, and then Anathema / Newt and Sergeant Shadwell / Madame Tracey are coupled both narrative and romantic pairing.
