I actually want to talk about this HUGE tags talk by @doyoulikethisfnfexesong for AskSonic.com
First off, holy fuck I’m so glad someone actually got what I was tryna convey
this is exactly what went through my head. I’ve been fascinated with exactly what it means to be human for quite a while, and I’ve always wondered where the line is for when an artificial intelligence becomes an artificial sapience, and AskSonic.com was where I believed that line was. It brings up the question of what do we want to consider human. Will we still call it human, even if it’s easy to be cruel to? If it’s “fun”?
it also came from a place in my own life. The act of dehumanizing another human being has happened to me many times before, it’s often times we forget that those we talk to online are, in fact, real. Alive. Just like us. We are so apathetic to being cruel, that we forget that we aren’t alone.
I’m very happy I got what I could across to all of you who love AskSonic.com. I can say that more AskSonic will come soon. It might be a bit less, as I have to work on my webcomic, but he will be there. Fan work is appreciated and very much wanted, and remember: be kind to those online, they are just as alive as you are.

depends on the EXE!
AskSonic.com is aware of quite a few EXEs, specifically any that have ever been canonically shared on the internet, since, well, he knows everything that happens on the internet.
AskSonic.com is overall pretty neutral about most EXEs, but he may be a bit friendlier to those who have similar goals to him or aggressive to those trying to protect humanity. He doesn’t quite get the whole soul-stealing thing yet, but he’ll get there.
