An armored body stands directly in front of the closed workshop door, having been slightly nudged backwards by the doctor falling into them. Having done so, the gentle thrum of a heartbeat and warmth radiating beneath cool metal are a mixture of conflicting messages to the Medic.

He could hear the steady drumming, but there’s no sound of breath as their chest rises and falls. The metal is ice cold, yet the heat should keep it from being that way.

All of these things are noticed within a moments time. The next second rolls by, and the realization of what situation he’s in settles, only reinforced by the bright blue lights of something’s eyes illuminating the doctor within the previously pitch black room.

Upon turning around, it becomes clear that this isn’t a human, but a robot. Yet, despite it’s appearance, so many other factors point to the opposite conclusion. What on earth..?

After retreating inside and finding a bloodied cloth in the med bay to dry yourself off with, remember your previous goal and attempt to reach the frequency from before. The rain has slowed a bit, though it’s still pouring, but it’s enough for him to give a staticky query message before losing contact again.

Friend, im happy that you can go out into the rain!

fun fact about some of us humans: some of us are scared by the rain, or more specifically, thunder and lightning!

I hope you go without this fear, as staying in the rain /is/ quite nice. Just be sure to dry off afterwards to avoid any corrosion and/or rust on you!

Lightning is certainly a large concern, as I am unsure of my internal anatomy. While that is the case, I do know that my exterior is metal, and that I am a tall enough object to attract lightning.

However, my circuits are overloaded by the sensation of water, and it is the lowest tier of concerns right now. I am sure I will understand what you are saying better once I am inside... For now, I do not.

( Spybot is taking steps around in the mud and rain, letting it splash on his hands. There's even a faint recording of laughter playing at times, though it's clear it's one programmed into him. )

I do understand the fear of rain, though.

I fear that I am not fully immune, and rust... Rust could be an issue. I should return to shelter...
