Just for fun: a rough concept for Star Rangers, a Damijani sci-fi series within the Looming Gaia universe. Jeimos and Ojio are big fans! The characters are meant to look like little Rankin Bass puppets, and I imagine the series is stop-motion or puppeteered in a similar way.
Like all Damijani programming, Star Rangers is required to be chock-full of pro-Damijani propaganda. But the creators were passionate about their project and tried to write something with more universal appeal regardless, so it managed to find success even outside of the Damijana Empire. Today, it is a popular series worldwide, spanning across movies, comic books, novels, and even stage plays.
The series takes place far into the future, when the Damijani Empire has successfully conquered Gaia and is now searching for new planets to colonize. Captain Janeen, Commander Cygnio, and their wacky crew were sent to find a suitable planet. The series follows them as they travel the cosmos, exploring strange planets and meeting all kinds of fantastical characters.
Captain Nebulos: The brave captain of the Star Rangers crew. She is athletic, beautiful, and charismatic, but her hot temper and insatiable thirst for adventure tends to get her in trouble.
Commander Astromos: The crew's second-in-command. He sees everything from a purely logical standpoint and doesn't understand emotions very well. Though he is exceptionally intelligent, he can't seem to figure out his confusing feelings towards his captain...
RT-404: This robot may be small, but it is a highly advanced marvel of Damijani innovation! It can do everything from serving food to making ship repairs. It is said to be just as intelligent as a person, though it communicates in beeps that only its crew can understand.
Celeste: A pleiadae that crashed to Gaia and could not escape its orbit. She heard of the Damijani space flight and sneaked onto the ship to get back into space, but ended up getting attached to the crew and decided to join their mission. She uses her powers of teleportation to get them out of trouble, but she also uses it for mischief.
