I reread your AH stories so much just bc they're like the ultimate comfort AND also just so??? well-written and your worldbuilding is INCREDIBLE <3 anyway I got curious recently and watched Gunslinger Girl bc you mentioned Lamp Halo being based off it and!! It was so good?? Although personally the second season shift threw me off so I didn't finish the second one, but I was wondering what you thought of it? Did you watch the second season and would you recommend sticking with it? I was thinking abt reading the manga instead (ALSO also I loved watching the anime and comparing it to Lamp Halo and seeing what you connected in the story, its SO cool!!)

I only ever watched the first season of Gunslinger Girls and read some of the manga. I stopped that one pretty quickly though because it went down quite an icky part. If I remember correctly, there was a whole storyline about one of the Gunslingers being in love with their Guardian or something? It's been a couple years, but I saw where that was heading and just nope.

Super cool idea, starts out really interesting and then unfortunately goes the way that bad manga often do. So sorry, but I can't really recommend more than the first season!

But thank you for your lovely ask! Lamp Halo will probably always be a comfort story for me, no matter what happened. I'm glad it's the same for other people =)
