ah well I was wondering a little more specific, I assumed he was big on punk rock but like all time low, pierce the veil, la dispute, and hole are all punk rock but they're definitely four very different bands. I'm really only asking cause hiruko knows a lot about what she's talking about and would likely recognize asher so if you're not sure about the details that's fine

well i guess he quite likes british early punk rock music like rolling stones and sex pistols, but also likes some alternative punk rock or pop punk rock like green day, and he loves to perform elaborate solos which is what he's best known for. in essence he likes rock songs with the kind of anarchist punk spirit

his favourite genre is rock and hes most famous for that! he likes punk rock, but he also likes the classics. his favourite band is queen so he covers them a lot. however, he will learn other genres that he can. the only genre he hates is dubstep because its not something you can cover on a guitar
