Sooo since the opposite of the monarch's personality is the carouselians, Shaymin is not actually happy as the monarch?

On rare occasions, I do have brief moments where I am genuinely happy, but it affects the Carouselians and I must revert back to my neutral state immediately. Even if I am forced to go for long periods without feeling the true sense of joy, it is still my duty to keep it that way, and I will.

[sigh]

But what's that to stop me from trying to be friendly despite my false smile? And... as long as I keep my people happy, shouldn't that be good enough for me as the monarch?

Hello Carouselians, it's good to see you once more, great to see some friendly faces. So y'all goin on a hunt? What are some popular things to hunt in Carousels?

Hello~ We hope you all have been well; likewise, it is nice to see you again~

Da, we're going hunting~ And we're hoping to stay overnight in the woods as well.

Deer are our most commonly hunted prey and are considered prized possessions second to gold and silver. However, it is rare to find them grazing at this time of year.

Our primary focus will be looking for partridges and wild turkeys...

And if the men are feeling competitive, they may try their luck at hunting predatory animals for their fur.

Has the Monarch heard the exciting news from the other kingdoms? It's been a doozy!

I've heard much recently, but... I'm a bit conflicted with myself.

I know the other kingdoms are doing well, but the Spadian kingdom seems to be in a dilemma by King Pearl's reincarnation. I would like to help in any way I can, however, Crimson said I should not involve myself because Carouselian involvement might lead to further complications.

Even if the situation in Spades isn't too good, we are still allies; the least I can do is support King Pearl, yes? Perhaps after the hunt, I'll send a letter of consolidation to his majesty.

Whats your favourite thing about being the king? is it the luxurious clothing, the magnificent food? The sence of power? Or is it something small, like, ability to travel wherever you want?

The ability to travel to whichever dimension we wish through the carousel is a gift all of us Carouselians cherish deeply~ It is not something as small as you think.

Although the ability is great however, it is not exactly my favourite aspect in being the ruler. As the Monarch, I have abilities far greater than just traveling through dimensions. But that is not part of the question.

Since I became monarch, I have never found anything to be of favourite. Perhaps because I never took the time to think about it. Everything is very beautiful... Our delicacies, clothing, architecture... It is all incredibly luxurious. However, depending on the kind of person you are, all of that may only provide temporary happiness, just as it does with me. Our kingdom is not Heaven as it is.

Now if I were to choose something I truly enjoyed, it must be the two annual celebrations we have in the palace and gardens. Somehow, those celebratory days are the only times I can enjoy myself alongside my friends and the Carouselians.

Any recent major events that theres any gossip about? :)

Carouselians aren't the kind of people who spread gossip around, but if you ask me, I know of some stuff~!

There haven't really been any major events, but for news... Preparation for winter finished a while ago and so everyone is taking the time to relax in their homes. The gold and silver buildings here are really beautiful when they're covered in snow, you should see it the next time there comes a blizzard!

There have been some Cardians who found their way to the kingdom. Mainly Clubians and Diamondzians, though, but they got some really fun cultural stories from their kingdoms which the children here really loved! There was this Diamondzian explorer who talked about some really grand adventures of his, but he went back to his home kingdom. He did say he would come again and tell us more about his traveling, though~! I still haven't gotten to see any Jokers yet... But I do hope to see a friendly one sometime soon!

Oh! Lastly, there are rumours that the Monarch is thinking about making preparations for an event one month after the start of the Carouselians' Flower Season. She didn't say what the occasion would be about, but I got to know that it would be a big banquet!

I am concerned though... In the past six years, she's never really told anyone about making a huge celebration. I wonder why she would think of having a banquet when she's in a self-conflict at the moment- Ah- I'm thinking out loud again, sorry.

Anyways, that's all the news I have!
