Introducing the last member of the crew, Buck Wild!
On the west coast of Equestria, there was a small, boring cloud city that provided rain for many small, boring towns below. Coming from a small, boring family in this city was a restless young pegasus by the name of Calm Breeze, who hated his boring name and boring life. This colt would often shirk his weatherpony duties to visit and socialize in the towns below.
Calm was never on great terms with his family, as his parents gave him such a benign name hoping he would carry on the family tradition of weatherpony work. Calm Breeze was a competent weatherpony, but it bored him to death, his interests instead falling on stories about a great, great grandfather of his. Calm Breeze grew up adoring the stories about his ancestor, whom was supposedly an dashing treasure hunter that went on many exciting adventures. Calm Breeze, being an ambitious little colt, wanted to be just like this ancestor of his.
Calm Breeze never knew High Tide when he was growing up, but they did live closeby, with Tide’s hometowns being one of the towns to get rain from Breeze’s home. Only when word reached back home about Tide’s misadventures did Calm Breeze finally decide for himself that he wanted to live up to his great great grandfather’s legacy, and go on his own adventures. In a shortsighted attempt to leave behind his life of boredom, Calm Breeze renamed himself to Buck Wild, and left to meet up with High Tide in Manehattan.
Daring and self confident, Buck tries very hard to emulate the charming rogues that young foals read about in storybooks. Buck Wild always tries to impress the mares and prove himself to the stallions, but his true usefulness is from his background as a weatherpony. In addition to studying many maps of locations he wished to visit as a colt, Buck Wild uses his navigational skills and control of the weather to help travel the seas far better than any ship could hope to without a pegasus on-board.
