Uhmmm...
Myself alone can defeat Mewtwo in battle. A skilled ninja no opponent is too strong for me. Not even the self proclaimed "Strongest Pokemon in Existence". I back down to no opponent. That is my Nindō “ninja way”.
Actually we haven't gave it much thought *giggles*
We don't really mind it. I guess it's quiet nice to be compared to the original Smash Bros. Duo, the Ice Climbers. Plus they're so adorable. I really look forward to many battles with them... I mean if they're returning for Smash Bros Wii U/3DS ;) Look out Ice Climbers there's a new fighting Duo in town and it's Rosalina & Luma.

Translation: Off on a new Pokemon journey in the Hoenn region. Sometimes friends depart, and go their separate ways to follow their individual dreams. They're off taking a bright new path in their life doing what they want, and I'm happy for them. They left me behind as an individual to follow my dream, and they're happy for me. But at the end of the day, though we're far away we're still friends and we still remember the times we've had together. And one day, maybe one day if fate smiles upon us we'll meet again.
Other than little man Diddy some of DK's closet friends in Smash Bros have been: Luigi, Peach, Bowser, and Kirby. Mario and are friendly towards each other now sometimes, it goes back and forth.
