Weather nodded at the sceptile’s question. Yeah there are a few I play. Mainly games in the arcades really. Street Fighter 3, Marvel vs Capcom, Capcom vs Snk 2, love a good number of fighting games.” Weather gave a triumphant smile. “I love me some fighting games.”

“Though I do not own a single console. Mostly because I am not interested and I am busy due to work.” Weather reached into his jacket and pulled some type of old magazine from his jacket. “I do love reading about games though. These magazines are pretty cool.” When the sceptile looks on the spine of the battered magazine it reveals that it is from 1999. “I like collecting old game magazines. It is oddly really fun and cool to have a time capsule of something from pasts gone on.”

I have many hunting stories from when I was a pup. The one that stands out the most is from when I evolved. Both Dnak and I had just turned into Houndoom so we were not used to our forms. We were both falling over one another and just testing our power on each other. We may have set a couple fires… in our camp. We were punished, of course, and sent to gather firewood and other useful plants. But we even made that fun, just us being together was fun.

Bosuke: Aren't you that computer Pokemon? The one that was made entirely from coding? Is it really possible to create a Pokemon via computers?

Bosuke: So you say that a Slowpoke is chosen to be a Watcher, and then that Slowpoke evolves into a Slowking. Though what happens if a Slowpoke accidentally evolves into a Slowking?

Oh, don’t worry. There are never any accidents! We make sure to have only one King’s Rock at a time during each Watcher Crowning Ceremony. How it works is that the next Watcher-to-be chooses a trusted family member or close friend to find and bring back a King’s Rock. Any Pokémon in the currently living in the village that is not a Slowpoke, Poliwhirl, or Slowking is eligible to be chosen to find the item, and you’re basically given as much time as you need. They’re hard to find, so it’ll usually take a while.

Since my older sister happened to be chosen to become the next Watcher, she picked me to go and find a King’s Rock for her!

Er… Well, I was her second choice… My brother was the first pick, but he has guard duties, so, naturally… I was the next best choice? Admittedly, I’m not entirely reliable person with this sort of stuff. She chose me hoping it would help me be more responsible and independent. I’m not going to let her down, though!
