Elaine stood at the door and took a deep breath, squeezing her eyes shut behind her odd gray mask and wringing the sleeves of her oversized coat. It had taken just about forever to convince Sister S to let her come see him in the first place, and even then, she had been told to be really, really, really careful because the scary people were all around town, and she couldn’t get here unless she was that careful.
Obviously, she had been careful, because she was standing in front of Jeff’s door.
She hoped it was Jeff’s door still, anyway, as she continued to worry at her sleeves. She and Sister S had been staying underground for a little while now, and… well, she really didn’t really know what was going on with just about anybody anymore. But that didn’t mean she wasn’t going to come say hi to Jeff.
… Hi and bye…
Elaine distracted herself from more sad thoughts by knocking at the serial killer’s door.
Jeff groaned a bit, contemplating just ignoring the knocks and hoping the person on the other side of the door would go away. He hadn't invited anyone over recently, so it was most likely just some random salesman that happened to walk into the wrong neighborhood. Still, knowing that it could probably be an ally looking for help, he decided the least he could do was go check.
Lazily getting up from the couch, the killer walked towards the door, taking a brief look through the peephole before flashing a smile and slightly opening the door for Elaine to come through.
"Hey" Said the man cheerfully, stepping aside to let the proxy in. "It's nice to see you around here. Come in, what's up?"
