The sight of her old friend was enough to short circuit her into just standing there, arms hanging by her sides. But it was but a temporary effect.
Regaining her composure after her momentary surprise, she clasped her hands together- and gave Gabriel a warm smile as she made her way over to him. There was something about seeing someone so familiar that added the slightest hint of extra energy to her step.
