"And I'll do it again! I won't stop until I taste blood next time~"
"HOOONK!" *As airhorn comes from behind Kate while sitting at the campfire. When she turns she finds a familiar motorcycle helmet peering out from behind a tree with an airhorn in his hand. The Overseer slides back behind the tree and disappears.*
The Trial was alright. Kate was still learning the layout of the Tricksters Realm. Sadly Ace decided to gamble to find the hatch, and it seemed he lost that bet. He was final hook and Kate's been here long enough she knows she'll see his smug grin back at the campfire later saying how he'd "win big next time", so the effect of seeing your friends hurt has become dulled to her by now.
However Kate soon begun to find herself still walking down the tunnel instead of running in the fields like usual after a trial. She saw a light just further down but soon she begun to smell something she hasn't smelled in sometime. Someone cooking food? As kept walking and reaching the end of the tunnel she find an actual subway platform with tracks and even some of tricksters advertisements in his map still shining down here. She would find three food carts all set up in a cube shape with stools surrounding it and a table shelf hanging off the side to place food upon. Sort of like those Yatai food stands Yui would talk about when mentioning food from home. Approaching she could smell the amazing scent of food being cooked and prepared. she could see someone already seated at the stand, eating something that looks like a small pancake. She does not recognize him but he doesn't look like a killer. Dressed like a normal person with a t shirt and jeans with sneakers on, he looks at Kate then looks back to his food as he chews slowly. Within the actual kitchen of the cart she spies someone more familiar. Maxwell the Overseer, she knew because no one else wears white and black shirts like an mime nor have as many burn scars on their arms. His red jacket off and his hair covered in a hair net and a sweatband around his forehead, he's too busy cooking to notice Kate approaching.

It felt like an eon before she finally shook her head. The Trickster’s Delusion always made her feel overstimulated — and had there been people in there and not four survivors trying to outlast a single killer, it would have been less of an issue. Yet, between the lights, the smells, and the sounds of cats and people screaming, it always left her with a bit of a headache. So she honestly felt like this was just some sort of fever dream when she happened upon it.
A hand rubbed at her forehead before she finally approached. “Don’ think ah’ve seen ya outta that there helmet in ages there, Max. Didn’ know ya cooked.” Whatever it was, it did smell pretty good. Maybe it could help with her focus.

"Max, you do seem to take enjoyment in poking me whenever you get a chance. Any reason why this time?" Kate didn't think he had been poking at one of the many scars she had, though it could be that it wasn't one that had a bunch of bad memories tied to it.

*As Kate returns to the survivor campfire she finds a nearly packaged present sitting by one of the logs for sitting upon, it was also near her guitar so one could guess it was meant for her.*
*Opening the present Kate would find two gifts inside. The first one Kate finds a new set of guitar strings. The second gift was a new pair of leather boots seemingly just Kates size. They both had designed of music notes all over. Inside one of them was a note.*
"Merry Christmas -Santa Simon"
"Throw these at me again and I take them back - Elf Max" @ask-simon-the-shadow

The guitar strings were an absolute blessing! Maybe she could get the old guitar to keep a tune if she restrung it! That was something she looked forward to. Yet the second gift gave her a pause, and she found herself sinking down to sit on the log.
Boots. New boots that were cute. Her fingers traced over the neat stitching and the notes on them. Who had -- ah, there it was. She found the note inside the boot, eyes skimming it over.
When she saw that it was from Max and Simon, she grinned. No, she wouldn't throw these boots. Christ, she knew she'd never get them back if she did.
Shame, she didn't get to see Max dressed up like an elf. Nor Simon as Santa -- at least she assumed the little shadow was dressed up like Saint Nick. That would have been adorable.
*As Kate sits by the campfire when suddenly she hears the infamous theme song of a well disliked Killer being played on a piano. Kate jumps and turns to face the direction of the music but instead of finding Myers. She finds Maxwell sitting upon a thick branch of a nearby tree with a small piano on his lap. His hand on his visor, he's silent but she can tell he's silently laughing.*
"CHRIST, Max!" Kate had a hand to her heart as she glowered at him. "You tryin' t' give me a heart attack?"
She stomped over to him, intent on being annoyed and angry for longer, but it didn't last when she spotted the tiny piano. "Where did ya even get that anyway?"
