Finally out of the Divide. Her hands across her middle. Dizzy. Headed toward the crosses. Had to get to Alis, Alan, Tyler... Anyone. Leaning against a tree. Trying to let her shaking legs calm. Try to look composed when she got there.
The woman could not help but laugh when she brought a hand up to her sweating face. It was getting horrible that feeling like this was getting to be a every day experience out of the Divide and through it. Bending forward to dry heave a few times.
Grunting as she bent down on her heels. Her head on her knees, hands clutched around her blood covered middle. Having double thoughts already. Why was she dead bent set on coming here?
Smiling through the pain. That always was the reason she trusted and came to people.
Getting back to her feet, trudging along. Had to get there. Their home was not to far out of sight. Getting closer, finally having something to grab on to. Falling down to her knees. Did not know how close she was. Just wanted to get out of from outside.
Looking down at her bandaged hands. Covered in caked blood... As well as her cloth belt and hoodie. Looking up... There was the house... It was there. Grunting as she made her way to the porch.
