What they fight about: I think it’d mostly be about his job, like after she ‘knows’ he’s not human she’d always argue with him about why he stays with the ccg

One headcanon about them: these dorks probably took forever to confess to eachother, like they went on edates and stuff but like haise would always be like nO it’s a friend date pls believe me, and then just one day just these dorks would just end up kissing and admitting they like spending time w/ one another

Saiko hadn’t known what to buy for touka so she simply went with the easiest thing, socks. she really hoped that touka at least liked the gift a bit...if not that would be a bit awkward.

"Amusement park?……." She ponders on this for a minute. When she was little, her dad never really had the chance to take her and Ayato to an amusement park so Touka had never actually been to one before, though she have seen it on the news as well as in books. And amusement parks sure looked fun, as far as she could see. "Sure! I’d love to go to the amusement park! Lets go now!" The purple haired ghoul was eager to get going.

Seeing all of the enthusiasm Touka had took Kaneki aback for a moment. Was this how she always was under her stony face? He recalled the moments where she’d yell at him for getting an order wrong or call him out on being so nervous. Those were some bittersweet days he’d never forget, a sheepish smile was always on his face during those times. 

“A-alright! Let’s go,” Kaneki agreed, tugging along the enthusiastic ghoul out the door of their beloved coffee shop, a bright smile adorning his features. They’d have to take a train to get to any nearby amusement park. Oh well, it wasn’t like he was poor, he had a job-- plus he figured she wouldn’t be the type to read books with him as a first date.

The fresh air of a spring day was so contradictory to that of the deep roast smell of the small coffee shop, just a breath was refreshing. Upon descending the short staircase, Kaneki looked over to Touka while turning to the direction of the nearest train station. A thought popped into his head as he pondered on how everyone at Anteiku would take their relationship, one that was very important. 

"You know, if Hide found out about us, I bet he’d whine over it a little but then he’d never stop teasing us. I forgot that he had a thing for you , I don’t really know if he still does or not, it’s been a while since we’ve talk about that kind of thing.”
