So did Tragedy lose all memories of her former life when her tome was written over? Or does she still remember being Hope
She has some memories of her old life, but they are hazy. Most memories have been obscured by the vandalism in her Tome of Infinity.
Hope is interesting because she knows she's a corrupted being and she knows the Cult of the Crescent is not her ally. She considers them her enemy. But she is still magically compelled to serve Disgrace because the manifesto in her tome forces her to.
She is forced to perform evil, and hating every second of it.
