hi anon, thank you!! i met RAT through a mutual's multiplayer origins server, maybe 4 years ago? i read a character lore channel in the server discord and made art of some people's OCs. funnily RAT had already been left that server by then (and our only interaction had been them roasting me for struggling with loading mods), and didn't actually see the art until a bit of time later when they were snooping through their twitter followers
this was one of the earliest/the first? drawings of rat maid besides RAT's original edited image, so they were very excited about it.
we became twitter mutuals, i drew rat maid a bit more because i enjoyed the design and RAT's work (which has evolved quite a bit since then wowie)
(that right birthday drawing is also how i ended up being a little rat in Rat's Mischief. still a sweet gesture and one of my favorite gifts)
later, RAT commissioned me for their (old) channel profile picture
from there RAT continued to commission me for various things. we became closer friends through games and chatting, so i'm often accessible to them to ask about random art needs. this is why you might see me randomly pop up for small parts on some projects-- train logos, the angel's wing concept.
i love doing work for RAT, i end up making a lot of stuff that i'd never find reason to do otherwise and the unique constraints present fun challenges. RAT sometimes being very particular combined with my own habit to revise heavily can make our projects take a long time LOL, but i really enjoy working with someone that cares about making something good. i deeply appreciate them as a client, collaborator, and long-time friend.

c!astron has been many different people, so i've always had a lot of difficulty describing what they are like. this time i guess i would say that they are restrained, thoughtful. sometimes it doesn't seem like they're completely there and they aren't very emotional, but they don't seem to be necessarily uncaring. they're known to spend quite a bit of time sleeping. physically they aren't very strong so they figure out ways to avoid most violent confrontations.
hi astron you were mentioned in a dream i had. you got eaten by a biomechanical t rex named oil. this was viewed as shocking and out of character for oil, so thanks for being a warning sign that something was deeply wrong with the dinosaurs in my dream i guess idk

so far i've heard cabinduo and astronomyduo, though you could probably come up with your own duo name if you want since its not often discussed. rat and i have also joked about being littlebitchduo (little being me and bitch being them) but that's not actually used in fandom ahahaha
Do you do commissions for your beautiful Minecraft textures if so what is your general prices
i rarely do minecraft textures so i don't really have commission prices ahahaha. the only texture i've done recently is my harpy express skin--- i don't have enough experience with doing skins to feel comfortable offering them as commissions but i can describe my process for that skin if people are interested in that

hi there, i just have a clarification question re: csmp boundaries on gore— what are people’s thoughts/feelings on body horror? i do a lot of art on plant and machinery horror and that kinda straddles the line between “roughed up” and “full gore” (think stuff like annihilation to david cronenberg’s videodrome) and was wondering where yall lied with that? if you want any examples of art for further clarification i would be more than happy to provide it
HI i am so sorry for being a gazillion years late to this ask!! my recommendation for body horror is to take it case by case with how intense you're going. with the people that submitted "roughed up", it looks like most of them were okay with cuts, wounds, but start to get uncomfortable with things like disfigurement, lost limbs. some are also only really comfortable with stylized gore. so, my guess is if it's more light body horror that still keeps the general form intact, that would probably fall into "roughed up". if the body horror really starts to warp the form, bring in really disturbing and realistic textures, that's probably tipping more into "full gore"
