When cruising through Hell searching for other V1s and the answer to your inquiries about Father and The Metatron, you felt the need to stop and rest.

Perching somewhere hidden enough to be able to watch who comes and goes and not be perceived, you rested.

While resting, you heard it. It seemed to come from not too far away but still far enough that you couldn't see where.

Someone was running. Running quite fast. The sound of metal hitting against the floor was quiet and methodical enough that you couldn't distinguish if it was a machine or an armored being. Whatever it was, it seemed to want to hide its identity.
